Rumi’s Kitchen is a Persian kitchen located at 6112 Roswell Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30328. Being the hopeless romantic that I am, I had to visit the restaurant named after the world famous poet, Jelaluddin Rumi. Rumi was a 13th century Persian poet who taught about love, happiness, and peace. AND Beyonce named her daughter after this visionary, so… you know he’s great (Lol).
Upon my arrival, I immediately knew that I was going to be impressed. The vibe of the restaurant was luxury mixed with decadence and I loved it. If you ever see me order red wine, trust that I am feeling bourgeois and I will not be exercising restraint.
So, I did not. I ate well. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone with an appetite. The food is simply delicious with unique flavors from the Middle East. They offer valet parking and a romantic atmosphere. It’s a relatively expensive restaurant, but well worth the money. I got the Sultani, which is a slab of meat ( I choose chicken and beef) that is served over white rice seasoned with butter and garnished with a roasted tomato. I recommend you add grilled onions to your order. Also, ask your waiter/waitress for the wine menu and dessert menu, you won’t regret it.
In sum, take your spouse, your momma, your uncle, your cousin, your annoying co-worker, and your in-laws here. Take everybody here.
Definitely a 5/5.
